  • Project Architect

    Responsible for design, planning, development and execution of design documentation including reviewing city codes, consultant coordination, organizing and coordinating project team assignments. Project Architect shall exercise guided judgment in evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniques, solves problems when encountered, and receives guidance on complex projects.

    Education

    • Professional degree in Architecture.

    • Professional licensure preferred, but not required.

    Experience

    • 4-12 years of architectural experience.

    • K-12 experience preferred.

    • Proficiency in Revit, graphic design, and 3D visualization software.

    • Experience in all phases of design process. Familiar with building codes, specifications, and building systems.

    • Understanding of project management process. Manages and directs work efforts of junior staff.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Displays collaborative and professional work ethic.

    Design

    • Applies intermediate elements and principles of design.

    • Demonstrates intermediate understanding of design practice methods.

    • Ability to create preliminary design studies and options.

    • Works with designers to coordinate Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation phases.

    • Works with Design Director to execute design goals.

    • May research intermediate building systems in support of overall design.

    Technical

    • Prepares construction documents, plans and details; creates red-line revisions.

    • Implements code, accessibility and zoning analysis.

    • Prepares mock-ups of drawing packages.

    • Coordinates specifications and manages project deliverables.

    • Creates and develops construction documents in all capacities with minimal supervision.

    • Integrates engineering systems into the overall project documents.

    • Self-directed with all aspects of Construction Administration.

    Management

    • Self-organizes and plans accordingly to execute tasks.

    • Self performs within the constraints of project budgets and schedules.

    • Creates agendas and coordinates minutes with Project Manager.

    • Presents progress and updates to client and design team.

    • Coordinates consultants and vendor assignments.

    Project Manager

    The Project Manager operates as the primary contact for all communication between the client and Glenn|Partners, ensuring timely resolution of client concerns and management of business issues including contracts and additional services. Manages multiple small | medium projects (or one large project), coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work. Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects.

    Education

    • Professional degree in Architecture.

    • Licensed Architect.

    Experience

    • 8-14 years of architecture experience.

    • K-12 experience preferred.

    • Proficiency in Revit and interpreting | reviewing CAD.

    • Experience mentoring staff through all phases of the project.

    • Proven track record of maintaining existing client relationships and building new ones.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to solve complex problems within the design process.

    • Experience managing and directing work efforts of staff.

    Design

    • Assists with client’s expectations through the design process.

    • Provides QA | QC Reviews.

    • Reviews drawing sets set for compliance with design standards.

    Management

    • Prepares strategic plans for project success.

    • Establishes budgets and schedules that align with project work plan.

    • Manages a team keeping the project on schedule and within budget.

    Design Technology and IT Manager

    The Design Technology and IT Manager leads the firm’s digital strategy at the intersection of design technology, production tools, and information systems. This role will provide basic local on-site IT assistance to the staff while working alongside the firm’s remote IT company for more complicated items. This role will also focus on researching, promoting, and implementing digital applications that supports and enhances design excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation across all project phases. Ideal candidates are highly motivated professionals that value helping and working in a team environment. This new position will require a strategic self-starter who exhibits soft skills, relationship building, and technical expertise to confidently drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital design standards, workflows, and infrastructure that advance the firm’s practice. Working closely with firm leadership, project teams, and consultants, this position bridges the gap between architectural design technology and daily IT operations.

    Education

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, computer science, or equivalent.

    Experience

    • 5+ years of AEC experience preferred.

    • Professional experience in architecture, engineering, or design is preferred, with a strong background in BIM and digital workflows.

    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM 360 / ACC, and other industry-standard tools.

    • Experience with laptop deployment, configuration, and basic IT troubleshooting, including hardware setup, software installation, and license management.

    • Ability to develop, implement and support tools, templates, and workflows to enhance the project delivery process.

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into practical applications for design teams.

    Design Technology Leadership

    • Oversee the integration and optimization of digital tools including Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Bluebeam, Sketch Up, and other BIM/CAD platforms.

    • Manage implementation and support of design collaboration platforms such as design authoring tools in a virtual environment and AEC cloud-based products (BIM 360 Design, Docs, Coordinate and Build as well as New Forma).

    • Develop and maintain digital standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.

    • Provide training, technical support, and mentorship to staff to enhance digital literacy and software proficiency.

    • Research and implement emerging technologies that improve design, visualization, and documentation workflows.

    • Coordinate model management, project setup, and collaboration standards across multidisciplinary teams.

    IT and Systems Management

    • Oversee daily IT operations in coordination with external vendors, ensuring reliable network performance, data security, and hardware maintenance.

    • Manage software licensing, updates, and compliance for design and productivity applications.

    • Support cybersecurity best practices, data backup systems, and cloud-based collaboration tools.

    • Collaborate on strategic planning for technology upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and digital risk management.

    Develops creative conceptual, schematic, and design development solutions. Displays the ability to work with the Design Director and Senior Project Designer to study design options and present to the team. Responsible for guiding the team through implementation of schematic design into early design development documentation. Strong work ethic and dedication to design excellence is essential.

    Education

    • Professional Degree in Architecture.

    Experience

    • 2-6 years of architecture experience preferred.

    • Proficiency in Revit, graphic design, and 3D visualization software.

    • Basic understanding of design principles and theory. High level of creativity, innovative thinking, and problem solving.

    • Strong sketching, graphic, and computer skills.

    Interior Designer

    Develops creative conceptual, schematic and design development solutions. Displays the ability to work with the Senior Project Designer and Senior Interior Designer to study design options and present to the team. Provides assistance throughout the design process which may include basic design plans, construction contract documents, elevations and details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, ergonomic dimensions, finish plans, color plans and schedules.

    Education

    • Professional degree in Interior Design.

    • Professional registration preferred but not required.

    Experience

    • 0-6 years of architecture experience.

    • Intermediate understanding of design principles and theory, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
