Oklahoma Christian Academy
The Oklahoma Christian Academy masterplan was guided by the client’s vision for a school where the power of knowledge meets the power of faith through an integration of academic, spiritual, and physical experiences. The masterplan responds to three tiers that occur on site and develops three distinct but connected programs: a landscape buffer, an academic/arts village, and a comprehensive athletic complex. A central pedestrian avenue connects the three tiers to form an entire campus community. The master plan will develop in four phases.
In Phase 1 a new lower school (K-6) and middle/upper school (7-12) will be connected by a welcome center/spirit store, administrative offices, cafeteria, and café. Phase 2 will include the athletic complex which features a field house with locker and weight rooms, a dual court gymnasium with locker rooms, a multipurpose playfield for football/soccer/lacrosse, and a combination baseball/softball field. Phase 3 includes a Performing and Visual Arts building that features a 300-seat auditorium. In completion, Phase 4 offers classroom expansion through additions to the lower and middle/upper school.
