Where College-Focused Academics Meet Real-World Experience.

Located in Pleasant Grove in southeast Dallas, Cristo Rey Dallas College Preparatory School provides a unique educational experience for its growing student population. Through partnerships with local businesses, Cristo Rey Dallas students can participate in a Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) from freshman through senior year. These real-world learning experiences help students develop valuable professional skills, including strong written and verbal communication.

Intro Image

The new 31,200-square-foot Student Academic Building is contextually integrated into the existing campus. Its exterior conveys a collegiate campus feel, featuring tall two-story brick pilasters and expansive window openings, while the interior is thoughtfully designed to support the professional focus of the Corporate Work Study Program.

As the second phase of a five-phase campus master plan, the Student Academic Building houses 15 student-centered core classrooms and four science labs dedicated to biology, chemistry, and physics. It also includes distributed administration and counseling spaces, along with open and flexible areas for student collaboration.

This new facility reinforces Cristo Rey Dallas’s commitment to preparing students for both academic success and professional achievement, providing a dynamic environment where learning and real-world experience intersect.

A commitment to sustainability lies at the heart of the project, reflected in the facility’s design for LEED Certification.

“The team guided the development committee through collaborative programming and planning workshops to establish an overall architectural vision that aligned with our mission to create a transformative learning environment for our students.”
